HYPER FIXATED: CHANEL COCO BEACH 2026 is a Pisces Princess Dream

The PR wire just delivered the full 34-image packshot series for the CHANEL COCO BEACH 2026 collection (dropping this May in stores), and as a Pisces, I am MFin submerged.
For a water sign, “by the water” isn’t a location; it’s LIFE.
This collection understands that perfectly. It feels like a wardrobe pulled from a high-fashion shipwreck—part technical resilience, part shimmering treasure. Everything is beautiful, everything is perfect, and everything is intentional.
My favs though are the accessories that we can have a look at in more detail.
01. THE SHOES: High-Jewelry for the Shoreline
The footwear this season is ceremonial. Chanel has taken the concept of beach/water shoes and turned them into ritualistic artifacts caught in a net.
The Mesh & Coral Mules: These are the hero pieces. The technical mesh acts as a structural net for the foot, while the red coral beads and gold charms are the treasures caught within.
The Weave Flats: Beach to Lunch Core. These are the true artifacts of a water sign dream. Moving away from the structure of a wedge, these flat sandals are designed for fluidity and a direct connection to the coast.
The Neoprene Mary-Janes: For the active Princess. It’s a performance ballet flat or BOOT !!! OMG —flexible and high-grip. The ultimate crossover for a morning movement ritual.
02. THE BAGS: Artifacts of the Tide
The bags aren’t just for carrying beach essentials at this point, they can somehow become the entire fit. The textures here are visceral.
The Fuzzy Stripe Flap: My absolute obsession. The reddy-orange and black stripes have a high-frequency vibration, and the plush, almost organic texture is a sensory requirement.
The Quilted Hobo: This bag looks like it has been bleached by the sun and softened by the salt. It’s relaxed, durable, and the definition of a perfect lived-in luxury.
The Raffia Family: The organic choice. Either in that classic flap and various totes it’s perfect. I am OBSESSED WITH the green, yellow and blue one - the Brazilians might claim it but the Tanzanian in me knows it was made for me !!!! The raffia feels like it was woven from seagrass on a pristine morning. It’s the color of a lagoon at sunrise.
The Mesh & Coral Flap: We saw it in the shoe, and now it’s translated directly to the bag.
03. THE ACCESSORIES
Every piece here serves the water sign dream—fluidity, protection, and ornament.
The Sunglasses: Shielding the eyes from the glare of the water while maintaining the editorial drama. The gold shield reminiscent of COCO NEIGE (and my fav running sunglasses) offer wrap-around protection with a finish that feels purely ornamental. I also adore those classic cat eye cut in the yellow and black tortoise. Those two are def on my wishlist.
The Jewels: Earrings that sway like sea kelp. They move with a liquid weight, shifting from long, dramatic drops to sharp, punchy shell like discs. The necklaces are playful yet still very much CHANEL CODED.
The Scarves & Headwear: The final layer. Silk bandeaus in aquatic blues and deep reds meant to be tied loosely or used as a coverup, personally I would be styling it as a top to let that artwork shine. Fluidity IMO is the only rule. The hats, one for protection and the other for the look.
The Beach Essentials: We have technical terry cloth bags designed for the salt and the sand, paired with the ultimate seaside artifact: a Chanel volleyball held in a bespoke quilted leather carrier. It’s the peak of Beach Core —turning sport into a high-fashion ceremony.
A Symphony of Submersion
This 34-piece offering is so much more than just a beach collection; it is a structural extension of the fluid self—a non-negotiable invitation for the water sign within to finally come home. I am obsessed with the dialogue happening here between the tactile and the ethereal, a space where the rigorous (the architectural mesh, the high-performance neoprene) meets the purely celestial.
